How to Thrive in a Post-Compliance World

I attended a live discussion about future business models for accounting firms with accounting software companies Reckon and Saasu,  the Institute of Public Accountants and two progressive accountants. It was facilitated by Sholto Macpherson of BoxFreeIT.

I was very impressed with the contributions from and businesses created by, Martyn Dominy (mycfo.net.au) and Noel Tiufino (myaccounts.com.au)

The other panel members were Daniel Rabie, the Strategic Director at Reckon, Saasu’s CEO Marc Lehmann and IPA CEO Andrew Conway.

There was a document distributed which summarised some of the add on’s available for Cloud Accounting.  This may be useful, though there are a few suppliers not listed.  If you want a copy, please email me at thea@foraccountants.com.au
