Accounting Firms Can Add-Value by Offering Clients New HECS/HELP Repayment and Net Pay Calculators From Their Own Downloadable App
The calculators are one of the most go-to tools in the App
Darlington: November 15th 2018 – MyFirmsApp, the global number global number one developer of custom Apps for Accountants and Bookkeepers, announced today that it has made two new useful calculators available to work within its App for Australian accounting firms. These are an invaluable addition and can be downloaded to clients’ smartphones and tablets to provide instant access to even more value-added information.
The calculators are one of ten most visited sections of the App and the addition of the new HECS/HELP Repayment and Net Pay calculators bring the total number available in the App to fifteen. The HECS Repayments calculator is based on the ATO HELP repayment thresholds and rates as available on the ATO website and the calculator is designed to be a useful reference guide based to predict figures.
The Net Pay Calculator is based on the ATO PAYG Withholding tax tables as available on the ATO Website and as before, is intended to be a useful reference guide as PAYG and other components may vary due to rounding or changes in personal circumstances or approved PAYG Withholding variations.
Every accounting firm’s App is built from the ground up to provide immensely handy tools and financial information to save clients time and money. Whenever there is a change in the tax rates announced by the ATO, all calculators are adjusted by the MyFirmsApp team, so accountants can be confident that they are always providing up-to-date information to their clients.
The other calculators include:
- CGT
- Company Tax
- Currency Converter
- Domestic Meal Allowance
- Fringe Benefits Tax
- Gross Pay
- Goods and Services Taxes (GST)
- Income Tax Individuals
- Loan Repayment
- PAYG Withholding
- Stamp (Transfer) Duty
- Super Contribution Caps Calculator
- Super Salary Sacrifice (Cost/Benefit)

“These are important new additions that accountants can have added to their Apps. Having an App is no longer a choice for the few; savvy firms recognise that their clients are increasingly using their smartphones to go online, and they want the convenience of an App to provide them with value-added tools, such as calculators, so they can run their own figures through them when it suits them to do so.”
Smartphone ownership amongst millennials in Australia now stands at 95% as reported by Deloitte Mobile Consumer Survey 2017 and 75% of millennials use their smartphones to go online as often as their computers according to research carried out by Yump.
