Using a quality audit practice may mean that sometimes an audit may be qualified. It is a much wiser approach to receive reliable advice in good time, so that you and your clients have the opportunity to get it right, as opposed to not receiving this considered service.
A qualified audit report may be a blessing in disguise… it empowers the Trustee with knowledge and provides the opportunity to take reparative action, protecting your clients and your firm. A quality independent auditor helps you to stay on the right side of the law. Quality is your friend, not your enemy.
With the increasing use of technology to process audits efficiently, there is a risk that not enough consideration is given to expert opinion and comprehensive checking on administrative details.
